Employment-Associate Director Program Services

 

Job Description:

Reports To:           Executive Director or designee

Primary Function:

  Overall Program Coordinator for all assigned programs.

Responsibilities:

1.         To direct and supervise all programmatic activities of assigned programs.

2.         To direct and supervise Residential Services Coordinator, Director of the Day Program, Supervisors, Case Managers, Behavioral Specialists, non-medical function of the LPNs (if applicable) and other nondirect care staff using efficient, effective personnel management practices; to provide performance evaluations of managers and support personnel in the program services area.

3.         To administer all policies and procedures in accordance with applicable standards, licensing and quality of care standards; to participate in the process to admit and discharge clients.

4.         To oversee the provision of quality care and service to clients.

5.         To interpret the agency's program to the community and to advocate for the client population served by coordinating agency services with other human service agencies, professional associations, colleges and universities, service organizations and by informing the general public about clients.

6.         To coordinate the development of treatment plans for each resident and participate in and monitor their implementation.

7.         To insure that all necessary records regarding each resident's program and progress are accurate and complete and are filed in a timely and orderly manner.

8.         To insure the operation and maintenance of the physical plant.

9.         To perform other functions as requested.

10.       Assume 24 hour on call responsibilities as scheduled.

Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in Human Services Area

Work experience in a job related area

Ability to be insured as a vehicle driver by agency’s insurance program.

A valid Tennessee Driver’s license.

Good knowledge of basic English sufficient to read instructions, keep records and write reports.

Successful completion of background and reference check.

Successful completion of a drug screen.

 Ability to perform the essential functions and activities of the job with or without reasonable accommodations.
